This report presents a detailed account of the activities, achievements and challenges of the University of Energy and Natural Resources for the 2024/2025 academic year. It brings together the work of the various Schools, Directorates, Centres, Offices, and Units and reflects the collective effort that continues to drive the University’s growth. The period under review was marked by steady progress across academic, research, administrative and infrastructural fronts. Key initiatives were advanced and the University strengthened internal systems that support teaching, learning and service delivery. The commitment of staff and students ensured that academic work proceeded smoothly, even as the University navigated the realities of limited resources and a growing mandate. The University also deepened its collaboration with local and international partners, expanded research activities and pursued capacity-building efforts that aligned with our strategic direction. These engagements remain essential as we work toward becoming a leading institution in energy and natural resources education. This report highlights the milestones achieved during the year, including improvements in quality assurance processes, the expansion of academic programmes, enhanced internationalisation efforts and the strengthening of administrative structures. Together, these developments provide a clear picture of our progress and the opportunities ahead. I extend my appreciation to all staff whose dedication and teamwork made these accomplishments possible. Their contribution remains at the heart of the University’s mission and continuous advancement.
